ERM, Engine Room Resource Management (ERM) is a system of achieving safe engineering operations by proactively managing personnel, equipment, and information. Review the team roles, human factors, and situational awareness required to implement a proper ERM program, and learn how good ERM practices save vessels.

SCOPE OF THE COURSE

The course is IMO Model course 2.07 “Engine room simulator”. This course fulfills the training requirements for competencies stated in STCW 2010 A-III/I ( Manila amendments) part A of STCW Code 2010 and Regulation III/I, Section A-III/I, Table A – III/1.and A&B-VIII/2.
